Ethereal Electrolysis is owned and operated by Andres Mejia, who is professionally trained in the latest technology that Apilus offers in Electrology. Certified Electrologist in Galvanic, Thermolysis, and Blend with the prestigious California Electrology Academy, a Dectro International Training Center.
I lived in Costa Rica for most of my life before moving to Texas in 2014, and I've been a proud U.S. citizen since 2020.
With over 21 years in the hospitality industry, primarily in Costa Rica, I have held various positions, including Groups and Conventions Manager at The Westin Reserva Conchal and Hospitality Manager at Reserva Conchal Beach Resort, Golf & Spa. Currently, I am an Assistant General Manager for Drury Hotels, where I have worked for nine years.
**Why Electrolysis? Is it a career change?**
I enjoy the mindfulness of electrolysis and aim to help people manage life changes, such as hormonal fluctuations or the psychological impacts of unwanted hair.
My treatment plans are tailored to each person and consider commitment, aftercare, and the correct hair growth stage for effective results. The length of treatment varies based on area, hair density, and other factors. While it requires a financial investment, it is the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal.
My code of ethics includes:
1. **Confidentiality**
2. **Integrity and Work Ethics**
I focus on quality service, treating each hair individually for higher success rates. I've invested in the latest Apilus technology for more comfort and faster treatments.
I have an MBA in Digital Marketing from Instituto Europeo de Posgrado in Madrid and a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
In my free time, I enjoy CrossFit, rollerblading, and rescuing dogs.
I am not transitioning at the moment as far as a career change. I love the hospitality industry and plan to manage both my full-time job and my studio, as living the American dream is no easy feat!
